OTOMO is about supporting women by ensuring better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability and fair terms of trade for garment workers in the developing countries we choose to operate. Just as important to us is keeping alive the slowly dying tradition of community based heritage craftsmanship and precious artisan skills in the ever fast paced world of machines and materials.Over the past 12 years we have worked closely with small family owned and operated business run by women. We try to make a positive difference to the communities in which we work in, by encouraging an environment that supports women in business and their needs to support their own families. This enables them improve their position and have more control over their lives.
